Pet care experience
I have experience caring for animals from Guinea pigs to goats! Growing up, we had all sorts of animals on our farm in addition to your normal cats and dogs. Although I no longer live on the farm, I am a dog mama to the sweetest Pomsky. I have put my trust into Rover sitters for awhile now, so I know what it’s like putting your trust into someone else to care for your pets! I work a personal schedule in the city, so I have a flexible schedule for appointments. If needed, I can bring my own Pomsky for your pet’s enrichment! My car is also pet friendly for any appointments or detours. PLEASE NOTE: If you are outside of my 10 mile radius limit, a $2 fee will be added per day to your service. In order for me to keep reasonable rates, I will be enforcing this policy. There is also a late fee of $20 for house sitting without ample notice. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING! I understand that our dogs and cats are not just our pets but our family. Fido deserves the same love and care as Grandma would.

Mercedes is a gem. We had to leave our fur babies for 2 weeks and she was incredible. She was very patient and followed our instructions really well. Also on the day we’re about to leave, one of my dogs had an injury, luckily not very serious. She was very attentive to him and took him to the vet on our behalf; including administering medication. She also sent us daily updates, left the house very clean. She’s very personable and easy to talk with. We highly recommend her!
So great!!! In a pinch we needed someone and Mercedes was great!!!!!!
I can't say enough good things about Mercedes. She went above and beyond for me and my cats last week while I was out of town during the really cold weather. During one of her visits, she noticed that my house had gotten very cold and that my thermostat wasn't working. She let me know there was a problem (I was 400 miles away) and she stayed at my house until I could get an emergency service call placed with my heating/cooling company. It was a late night for her and I know she was busy with other things going on. I am so appreciative of her kindness and concern! She's wonderful.
Mercedes does a great job and is very reliable. Our shy cats even warmed up to her quickly.

A typical day
I am not afraid to get down and dirty during playtime! Tug-of-war and fetch are two of my go to’s for small and large dogs. I also enjoy a good cuddle session on the couch after play time, potty breaks, and walks. Selfies are a must with all of my furry clients!
