Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in east Texas and have been caring for a variety of animals since a young age. I've been fostering cats and dogs through various rescue organizations in DFW since 2021. My husband and I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats of our own. I have experience caring for sick animals including cats with URIs and FIV positive cats - so I am comfortable and familiar with administering medications whether it be via capsule/tablet or orally via a syringe. I also have basic dog training obedience experience as we own three, our youngest being a Belgian Malinois I have trained extensively.

Memrie is incredibly patient and good with animals. Every single one she meets is her new best friend and any that have the luxury of being taken care of by her only receive the utmost care. She's worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and activity needs, and I don't think there's a cat she hasn't tried to pet. I'd absolutely have her watch my dog ANY DAY.
Memrie is by far the best person who could watch your pets! She’s takes every pup and kitten in like they are her own and cares for them like their owners do. My dogs love spending time with her.
Memrie was wonderful with my dog Nala (golden lab)! When our whole family went on a ski trip to Utah during the holidays we were in a pinch and needed to find a sitter, Memrie was very accommodating and was able to take Nala in! Throughout the stay, Memrie sent updates with pictures, videos, and even Facetime to show how Nala was doing! Memrie was professional, very communicative, and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Nala had a great time as Memrie was able to provide a big backyard for her to run around! Will definitely recommend her to family and friends!
Memrie is the most responsible and loving pet caregiver you can imagine. She goes above and beyond to make sure the animals have what they need and don’t need lol. She wants the very best for all animals. You should see what she has done to her “cat room”!! It is incredible. She will be a great addition to the Rover team.

Ensuring that every animal entrusted into my care is safe, happy, and healthy is my number one priority. With drop in visits I work hard to be consistent and timely as animals are used to and comforted by a routine. I also want to make sure they are getting fed their food and supplements accurately and that they have access to clean and fresh water at all times. Making sure they also get enrichment/play time is also important to prevent anxiety and stress while their people are away. With walks for dogs I always make sure their leash and collar/harness are fastened and attached and when walking to do so on the appropriate sidewalks/sides of the road and to be aware of our surroundings in order to keep them safe. Also allowing the dogs plenty of sniff time during walks to work their brains.

My schedule is currently very flexible/open as I am in between jobs since I am looking for a career change. Animals are my true passion in life and so working in a role where I can be around them is a dream come true.
