Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I was a child having pets growing up. When I was 15 I worked at a dog groomer every weekend washing dogs. It was a great job :-) Now as an adult we have a 1.5 year old dog who we love to take for walks, hiking, even the Brewery sometimes 🙂. We continue training classes with our Winnie which I feel has given me some good tools to work with when taking care of dogs. We also have an 18 year old grumpy cat that balances out our family.

We’ve used Melyssa for dog walking and overnight trips. She takes excellent care of all of our animals and always ensures their safety. She’s very responsive and easy to get in touch with. We are very selective and don’t trust anyone else.
Melyssa is the best there is. Not only is she a wonderful, loving, attentive dog owner, but also cares for other dogs as if they were her own. My dog, Hudson, may love her more than he loves me, which is a testament to her warm and loving temperament. Hire Melyssa and you'll have a very happy dog.

I have a large fenced in yard, however at this time if I were to do overnights I would prefer the clients home as I feel it is the most comfortable for the dog.

I have been laid off due to COVID so at this time my schedule is quite flexible between resume updating, virtual networking, applying for jobs and taking care of my 1.5 year old dog Winnie.
