I have over 30 years experience caring for all types of pets. After high school, I completed a veterinary assisting program and worked in a reputable veterinary clinic for 2 years prior to starting a family. I am comfortable with all types of animals big and small, whether furry, feathery, or scaly. I can also provide daycare or boarding for caged animal in addition to pups.

I live in a 2 story home with a gate at the bottom of the stairs to prevent the dogs from going upstairs without supervision, however, if I am upstairs, they will be allowed upstairs with me. They will not be left downstairs (or upstairs) unsupervised. I also have a fully fenced backyard.I have a 1 year old, high-energy pit mix named Ace that LOVES to play with friends! Your pup is sure to go home tired!

Please let me know if your dog is cat friendly. This is to keep my kitties safe :) I like to know allergies or treats that are a "no-no" (if any), if your dog has ever shown aggression toward people or other dogs, and if your dog is comfortable interacting with other dogs. Senior and special needs dogs have a place in my heart, so please let me know what I can do to make them as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Around here, daily activities are determined by the weather. We love the dog park on days that are less than 90 degrees! Otherwise, we love water play and trips to Petsmart for some different scenery and lots of fun sniffs! My dog is very high energy and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I provide lots of balls, rope toys, stuffed toys (if allowed), and safe chew toys. Fetch goes on all day long here. On nice days, we also love to take walks through the trails in the park across the street and visit friends at the dog park.

Availability
I am normally a full-time registered nurse, but currently on a leave of absence and home full time for right now. After breakfast, we typically play fetch in the backyard or take a trip to one of the local dog parks. Then we come home for a cool-down an a nap. In the afternoons we play in the backyard again and on hot days we have some water play. Then we come in for some snacks/treats and rest or play inside for a bit. In the early evening we go for a walk around the neighborhood, then come home for dinner.
