Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats and dogs, and when I was a teenager, a stray cat we took in gave birth to 4 adorable kittens. I couldn’t imagine not having a home full of animals after that! I pet sit for friends and family already, and I’ve been a foster parent for TAPS in Pekin for 6 years - we’ve fostered 6 litters of cats and 15 dogs so far. I love animals of all kinds, and I can’t wait to meet and care for yours!

If your pet has any special needs or medications, I have experience with animals with health conditions/ongoing meds. Many of our foster dogs have been heartworm positive and needed daily meds, and we’ve had others with different medical conditions along the way that required some form of special care. Let me know if your pet falls into this category!
A typical day
I have all kinds of toys in my house that your dog will be more than welcome to play with! We’ll enjoy romping around in the yard and sniffing all the smells, and then we can come back inside for a nap and/or enrichment/puzzle toy! I also have many cat toys strewn about the house, as well as cat trees, tunnels, and scratching posts!

I work from home most of the time, so I’m almost always around! Occasionally I need to go into the office, but that’s usually only for a half day at a time (4 hours).
