Pet care experience
I'm an experienced pet owner and animal lover, and I will treat your furbaby like they were my own, my pets are my kids. I currently have three cats, two of which have cystitis, one hyperthyroid that underwent radiation treatment. I have worked with all kinds of animals in my years with Petsmart and Petco as well as volunteering with Roman's Rescue, and being a pet foster for Safe Place, and I currently work with shelter animals and helping the public. I have worked with pets of all ages, sizes, energy levels and temperaments. I'm able to check in on your furbaby, play with them, give food/ water/ treats, as well as take them out for some exercise or just to potty. Thank you for your consideration! Your pets will be treated like they were my own! I also work on any training with the dogs while I'm walking with them, all positive reinforcement. *For safety reasons I will not take bookings for care of an animal when someone is home, such as a roommate. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Melody is my favorite pet sitter of the last decade, she is reliable, professional, and has great pet intuition. On one visit last Christmas she let me know that my heater had cut out and my house was at 54°! She stayed with my cat and put a heating pad out for her, then visited later again in the day to make sure my heater had been repaired by maintenance. I was 800 miles away scared to death but SO grateful Melody was there to check on my pet. No emergencies since then but it’s a great peace of mind to know that my pet is in such good hands while I’m away. She’s the best, wish I could give more than 5 stars
Always can depend on Melody!
Melody is so amazing and attentive with our cat. My wife and I always rest a little easier when we are on vacation knowing our fur baby is being attended to. We appreciate the lengthy reviews and photo updates Melody gives. 12/10 stars!

For cats I usually feed, clean litterboxes and play and cuddle with them. I can also do topical, transdermal or liquid oral medication. For dogs the same and I can play with them in the yard or take them for a walk.

If you're able to give me a heads up on any behaviors to watch for such as jumping, mouthing, resource guarding, kennel reactivity, just so I can be prepared.
A typical day
If the dogs are still amped after our walk I can provide relaxing enrichment like a snuffle mat or some prefer petting and massage. I don't like to leave them overly excited in the crate.
