Pet care experience
I used to work with the animal shelter in Okinawa Japan with the army. I was a civilian worker( not in army). I also worked with a few veterinarian offices in different parts of the county. I have volunteered and worked here in San Antonio Tx at the animal defense league. I have hands on first aide and CPR experience. ( I am NOT certified).I foster on occasion when I find strays. I have a Passion for animals and there needs. I can administer meds. Take temps, squeeze anal glands when needed, and groom. (Not licensed to groom). This is just from hands on experience.

Melodi was wonderful. This was the first time boarding my mini Aussie so I was a little worried. Melodi would send pictures and videos of my dog and the interactions he had with other dogs and her family which eases my worry. Would definitely recommend Melodi.
Melodie was courteous and communicative. My older dog was exhibiting new signs of aging and Melodie was professional and sensitive to my pups needs. She provided her medication and shelter to make her feel more secure during the fireworks and continued to update me even though there was an illness in the home.
Very friendly, affordable and accommodating. Highly recommend Melodi and will be happy to use her again. Communicative and assuring.
This was our first time leaving our dog with Melodi. He unfortunately had some stomach issues while we were away and Melodi was so patient and understanding. She even offered to cook him boiled chicken and rice! Not only did she provide excellent care, but she sent us videos daily of our guy. Will definitely use her again in the future. Thank you Melodi!

Availability
I have a seven year old son. I have three dogs of my own and a cat a bearded dragon and two rats. I pretty much cater to the animals and my youngest son. Caring for animals and family is something I absolutely love to do. I leave house to pick up son from school or take him to extra classes. Or to grocery shop. I have older children and grandchildren that pop in all times of the day. Also I have a terrific husband who helps when he is home. I give my full attention to the care of the animals in my home. They are family to me, even the furry visitors!
