I've had pets my entire 42 years, so has my husband. I grew up with a K9 German Sheppard and a Pekinese and along the way have had many more dogs, cats, birds, fish (salt water, coral reef and freshwater), and iguanas. We've always helped out with neighbors and friends pets, and participate in pet/animal friendly races. We are comfortable with all breeds I currently work at home part time. My kids are also willing/able to help with basic pet care if they are with me or the pet is at our home. They are never left unsupervised. We'd love to help out some families consistently but are more than happy to take care of your pets once in a while for special occasions or while you are travelling. We have a small but fully fenced grass back yard if needed. I am a runner, also happy to run with dogs or take them out to play or walk.
