Pet care experience
Looking to do a day trip at the lake? Or go wine tasting? Don’t leave your pup behind, bring them and they can play with me while you’re busy! I live at Heritage Ranch and would love to watch your pup while you’re out on the water or exploring in town! If you live at the lake and work all day in town, my drop in visits would be perfect for your pup! Or if you’re planning a day trip out of town, I would be happy to drop in or walk your pup! I’ve always had a dog in my home since I was a small child. In high school I was the go to dog sitter for families and friends. I would regularly care for a dog I had to give multiple types of medicine and have some experience training puppies. I also have experience helping rescued dogs adjust to new homes and people.

Mellany was a wonderful caretaker for our puppy, Rocco! She was helpful and very friendly. Throughout her time with Rocco she sent messages, pictures, and videos to keep us updated. We appreciate her help and recommend her!!
Mellany did a great job with my anxious pups while we were gone. She made herself available for a super last minute request! Definitely will be requesting her in the future!
Mellany did a great job caring for our pets/home over the 10 days we were gone. She sent photos of each of them with updates on how they were doing. I live in a house with a short fenced yard that my pups always have access to. We have an open floor plan living room giving extra space for the dogs to relax or play. Sofia is my yorkie mix who is not interested in playing as much as just hanging out, but Stella and Sasha are very social and would love a friend to play with them! Our cat also spends time outside sunbathing and loves to cuddle all animals. I am also able to feed each pup separately if needed and am always watching during mealtime.

Please let me know if any special needs or quirks about your pup. It’s important to know even the smallest of oddities to make sure every is as safe as possible. I will most likely double check about feeding, leash handling, treats and if they get along with small pups (if coming to my home).
A typical day
Playing, cuddling, and exercise are the main focuses when spending time with your pup. With a large yard, the pups have plenty of room to chase each other or play fetch! There’s a number of trails in our community that are dog friendly as well.

Availability
I currently work part time from home and spend the rest of my time with my 3 pups! The pups eat two meals daily at 8am and 6pm and can easily add another pup to the routine. Every morning we spend time outside playing fetch before it gets too warm and set up the kiddie pool in the afternoon.
