Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals the majority of my life! I actually used to babysit and would pet sit at the same time before I became a nurse. I’ve taken care of all my family members pets when they needed help. I always want to make sure your pets feel comfortable more than anything! I personally have a 7 year old Terrier Mix & a 6 month old Australian Shepherd who are my babies ❤️

If you're looking for someone to take care of your fur baby in whatever capacity, Melissa is someone I highly recommend. I have a lab mix and 2 cats, and she's taken great care of them, multiple times, with such love and attention. My dog is 10 and takes multiple medications throughout the day, at particular times. I would always leave a note with instructions but Melissa always made it a point to confirm everything before I left, and she'd call or text if she had any questions. My babies love her and so will yours.
My senior Dachshund Wendy takes a while to warm up to strangers, so finding the perfect person to trust was difficult. But with Melissa, Wendy was instantly at ease! Melissa was patient and loving and made Wendy excited. I don’t think Wendy wanted her to leave haha. She has several pets of her own so she has experience in dealing with animals. Melissa is my go-to person on Rover and I highly recommend her!
Melissa did a great job of taking care of my pug. He is a very hyper dog but Melissa is great at calming him down with lots of walks and play time. I know that she is a nurse and also has experience with taking care of children, along with having pets of her own. With that being said, I believe she’s very well rounded and qualified to care for your pets and provide them with the love they deserve while you are away!

Availability
I currently work from home Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM so I’m able to drop in and check on your pet as needed! I am available for house sitting on weekends. I am not comfortable staying in the home overnight but I am willing to stay until 11 pm and come back the next day at 6 am if next day care is needed.
