I have grown up with dogs and dog-watched since I was 8 years old. As a young professional, I don't have the capacity to own a dog. So, Rover is the perfect solution for me to get some dog time. When I dog watch, the dog is my priority. I am very dedicated to making sure the dog is as happy and content as possible. It can be hard when their owners leave! I am happy to administer medical treatment and walk/hike the dog to their content. At the end of the day, it is my hope to make the transition of caretakers as seamless as possible for the furry friend.

Melissa is the biggest dog lover I know. She’s watched my dogs many times and always gives them so much care and attention. She’s very active so the doggos always get a lot of exercise under her care which they loooooove. Can not recommend Melissa enough!!
Melissa is a wonderful asset to any team and family that has pets! She is extremely organized and professional, and awesome with all animals. She has excellent communication with us, is very respectful to our animals and rules, and is really trustworthy. She has a great depth of knowledge about dogs and many, many experiences that make her truly a wonderful dog caregiver. It would be a mistake to hire anyone else! :)

I have a lock-off to a house with an unfenced yard. I am happy to crate your dog or let him roam in my apartment! I live right by a great dog park and endless trails. I do not have a dog. When I watch dogs, I make sure I am with them at least 80% of the time.

Availability
I have a full-time job (8-5pm) on Monday - Friday. Sometimes I can leave at lunch to let dogs out, however most of my available time is over weekends and week nights. On weekends, I love to spend a lot of time with the dog either on the trail or at home. I am flexible to spontaneous dog watching times or can set long-term schedules.
