I am a Registered Veterinary Technician with 6 years of experience in the field and even more with my own animals. I have grown up around dogs and have 1 of my own. I am comfortable medication orally or injectable. I also have an interest in behavior and training.

Melissa was able to to get my dates covered even on short notice! She kept me updated and sent pictures of my pets while I was away. She also took time to sit down and play with my cats FAVORITE wand toy!! I would use Melissa again in a heartbeat!
Melissa is a wonderful pet parent. She has helped take care of both my mother's and my grandmother's cats, dogs, and even a friend of mines guinea pigs! She works as a vet tech so she has a lot of experience with animals as well.

I care for all animals as if they were my own. I feed wet or dry including microwaving if refrigerated. I pick up dog poop and scoop out litter boxes 1-2 times per day. I can socialize and play with any animals and also work on training

I am open to all breeds and needs. With experience working in the vet clinics I do ask that you write a letter authorizing your pet to be seen by a vet in case of any emergency.
A typical day
I can do anything from walking your dog to playing fetch or tug of war. I am also happy to just sit and hang out with them if that is what they prefer.

Availability
I am working part time and do not mind commuting or staying overnight if preferred. I can come come in the mornings or at night, can accommodate some afternoon visits if needed.
