Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life. My whole childhood I wanted to be a vet when I grew up, but life took me in a different direction. I have two amazing teenagers and a very sweet miniature dachshund. I was always the person at the party that gravitated toward the animals instead of the people lol. I truly enjoy the company of all dogs. I have a lot of patience and compassion for all animals big and small. I worked for a kennel where we fed, walked, entertained, and gave meds orally (when requested). We worked with a wide variety of breeds, ages, and activity levels. I would love to come and a part of your dogs day, whether it's walking, playing, or just giving some love and attention.

Melissa is kind-hearted and responsible. She has a deep love for all animals and will always do what she can to assist any pet/animal in need. She has cared for my dog as if he were her own, and I can trust that whenever I return, he’ll be in the same condition as I left him, and happy as can be. Melissa is very professional and will go along with any rules you may have set in place. She adapts well to different animals and will ensure dogs are comfortable in the setting. She is the best, and I trust her completely with my pup!
Like many people with animals, I view my pup as my child. Melissa has watched over Annie for me when I went out of town for a few days and I had absolutely no worries leaving her (as I knew she was in great hands). Melissa welcomed her into her home and sadly enough Annie barely wanted to leave when I came back to pick her up. Melissa is so passionate and loving when it comes to animals - I would love to have her hang out with my pup everyday. Choose her to walk your pup and I promise you will not be disappointed!
Melissa is a great dog person! Wonderful with my dog Bear. She’s gentle, patient and loving towards my dog like he is her own. Bear is always excited to see Melissa.

I have no breed preferences, I love them all! I would like to know of any fears or discomforts your dog may have (men, loud noises, head shy, don't like feet touched, food, toy, or dog aggressive, ect.) I've worked with dogs with all sorts of fears and discomforts.
A typical day
We can on walks/ runs around the neighborhood or at the park. Play fetch, tug-of-war, or tag. Give plenty of love, attention, and of course belly rubs!
