Our pets are like family, they need lots of love, attention, exercise, yummy treats, and fun adventures! I grew up with dogs all my life and have raised two of my own. I have trained my dogs basic commands ranging from sit, stay, come, to ringing a desk bell 🛎 to ask for a treat or a bell hanging from the door knob to ask to go potty. I would enjoy taking your dog(s) everywhere I can. Nature walks, hiking, swimming, pet parks, or to the groomers if requested. I am acurrently starting to train outside the home. Can give a reference...upon requests. Please allow me the pleasure to love and take care of your fur baby. You will not be disappointed!

The 1st time my dog(buddy) met Mellisa it was doggie love at 1st sight. "Buddy" acted like he knew her, her whole life with the way he responded to her. Melissa's LOVE and DEDICATION to pets is a beautiful thing to watch. Mellisa is a passionate dog lover, my doggie(buddy) along with my family and I definitely reccomend her!
Melissa has dog sat for me numerous times when on vacation or business trips. I have 4 dogs and she is absolutely wonderful with all of them. Would love to have her back and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a dog sitter.

I live in an lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood with my 21 year college student. It is very quite and kept up nicely. My dog is create and leashed trained. We walk everyday in the neighborhood where she loves to stop and say hi to her doggy friends. She also loves to play in the court. We visit local parks, walking paths, bike trails, and other local pet parks.

I would want pet owners to have very detailed conversations with me. What are their likes, their dislikes, do they have any sort of allergies, what do they really enjoy, what are their fears, do they prefer to be pet on the tummy verses the head.....the more details, the better. As a pet owner, I would want someone to understand how I parent my dog, follow my guidelines, send me pictures, and do whatever he or she can to make my fur baby(ies) happy. I always try my best to follow and honor the requests and requirements of my customers.
A typical day
As mentioned above, I love being outdoors....hiking, walking, visiting pet friendly parks, car rides, lots of play time, the adventures possibilities are endless... so much fun to be had together ❤

Availability
I do work from home currently as a school counselor in an elementary school. I have worked in the public school system since 2007. During the school year, I usually get out between 4 to 5 pm. My availability ranges from day to day, but I can be very flexible if planned ahead. I am free most nights and some weekends. Additionally, I have most of the summer off, I am open to all possible request and needs.
