I have been a pet stylist for 18yrs. I maybe new to rover.com however, I am definitely not new to pets and their needs. I have my associates degree in veterinary technology. I have completed pet first aide and CPR as well as animal behavior to name a few. I have one acre of land with a very large portion of it chain link fenced that is 5ft high I have been pet sitting in my own for many years. My home is in a nice quiet suburb neighbor hood Over the course of my grooming career, I have won multiple awards for my salon at a large retail chain. I was a grooming salon manager for 13yrs as well as a safety supervisor and academy grooming school instructor. My salon and boarding are home based and low stress. I decided to work from home 3yrs ago and I love to work with pets one on one. I have owned, rescued and fostered pets such as: cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, various reptiles, ferrets, rats, hedgehogs, birds, fish and even skunks! My home is 4.7 miles away from green animal emergency veterinarian. Akron canton airport is 7.8 miles away. Making it very convienient for travel. I do have 3 dogs. My dogs have their own room and can definitely be separated from your pets if need be. I have a cleared background check from coaching softball. I will ensure that all of my pet sitting clients and grooms are treated like one of my own, loved and cuddled, able to run free and get exercise many times a day as well as focusing on safety while you are away. Your pet has their own bedroom... If they aren't in my bed :-) I ask that all dogs are wearing ID tags at drop off. I also ask that all dogs are flea and parasite free. I appreciate your consideration for me to pet sit your fur kids while you are away!
