Melissa took care of my dog, Koda, for 3 days. He had such an amazing time being there. She took care of him very well and loved him like her own. Koda definitely felt comfortable and happy to be there. He is a more active dog and she made sure to play with him and take him on long walks to keep him happy!

This includes regular feeding and hydration, providing mental and physical stimulation through play and exercise, maintaining a clean and hygienic space, and ensuring timely medical care when needed. Communication with pet owners is essential to align with their expectations and preferences, ensuring a seamless and positive pet care experience - in that regard, I will stay in contact with clients and take lots of pictures and videos to show how happy their furry companion is!

Please tell me about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medications that your pet may need. If your dog has any behavioral traits that I should be aware of let me know ahead of time - for example, if your dog does is not a social pup, I will avoid dog parks and high traffic walk areas to keep them comfortable! Let me know about any preferred activities that will help your pup feel at-home with me!
A typical day
For physical stimulation, I prefer to take dogs on leisurely but energizing walks that allow them to explore their new surroundings. If the dog I'm sitting for is social, we may go to the dog park or a nearby trail for some physical exertion. I like to keep dogs mentally stimulated with different food puzzles - I have a food dispenser that requires use of their snouts to turn upside down as well as a rooting mat to find treats hidden within.

Availability
I work full time Monday-Friday from 9-5 pm which means I am available for early morning walks and feedings plus evening and late night walks and feedings. On the weekends, I am available for walks, feedings, and dog-sitting overnights.
