Scott and I truly enjoy taking care of them. We have also successfully rescued many animals over the years ranging from dogs to horses. I work my own schedule as a BSN RN so I'm very open with availability during the week and weekend. My husband is also available and helps with our pet guests. We live on 10 fenced acres with several large fenced areas for pets to play. We're with the pets through the day and always provide regular potty breaks. Our property has several areas for play for dogs with great recall, fenced areas for dogs without good recall, and secure fencing surrounding our 10 acre property for safety. There are lots of access to automatic doggie water fountains inside and out. When our pet guests aren't outside playing (always supervised), they stay and sleep indoors which is especially important here in Florida.

Melissa and Scott are truly a gift in our lives! We have 2 lab/golden mixes and they love their stays at the farm. My pups can be prone to separation anxiety and they are relaxed, happy and look forward to their stay! Melissa and Scott take such amazing care of our dogs we can go away knowing they are in loving home and having a great time. My whole family highly recommends a stay at the farm!

Leaving Gabby with Melissa and Scott is like not leaving her at all. She is always so happy to see them, starts barking with joy as we get close and comes home tired and full of contentment. Her demeanor is all I need to see that she is well cared for from feeding to exercise, attention and support. I would never leave my dog somewhere I didn't feel 100% comfortable with the environment and have in fact canceled bookings because the environment was not as described and/or the sitter wasn't comfortable with Gabbys size. Melissa and Scott are setup to handle big dogs and small and wish all dogs could have a dog-cation with them. The funny thing is, getting reports and photos during the stay is helpful but but tells the real story is how Gabby looks at Scott and Melissa when we leave and her happiness to be back. I know I am a better dog mom because I have Melissa and Scott to help. I thank both of you for all you do for Gabby, and the piece of mind you provide me. Sincerely, Ellen

❗ If you're new to booking with Rover, use CODE: MELISF68291 and SAVE ($20 off) on your first service with us❗ ----- As we have mentioned, our property has several areas for play for dogs with great recall, fenced areas for dogs without good recall, and secure fencing surrounding our 10 acre property for safety. There are lots of access to automatic doggie water fountains inside and out, a kiddie pool to play in (water changed daily) in the summertime, and plenty of access to drinking water and air conditioning to help fight the heat. We always provide lots of safe & enjoyable supervised playtime for your pets! Let's talk grooming! We're a real farm with real grass, etc. If your pet gets too much into the "farm life", we'll give him/her a complimentary bath before going home. However, if you would like a more expanded grooming experience for your pet, be sure to select "Bath" when you are booking your stay as one of our daughters is a professional groomer. We can discuss what type of grooming you would like prior to your booking.

Availability
✓ AVAILABILITY We're very open with availability during the week and on weekends and we're normally both at home! We schedule by appointment but we'll accept same day requests if we're available. ✓ DAYCARE STAYS For Daycare stays, we are available by appointment only between 8:30am - 5:30pm for drop-off and pickup times. If you need dropoff or pickup times outside those hours, please discuss your needs with us. After 7pm, Daycare Stays become Overnight Stays unless there's a prior arrangement with us. ✓ SPECIAL NEEDS We've been able to accommodate special requests for clients many times so don't hesitate to discuss your pet's needs with us. We'll provide a safe "home away from home" for your furry loved ones. • Large dogs, strong-willed dogs, show dogs, senior dogs, small dogs, and dogs with medical needs are all welcome! • Just be sure to completely update us on your pets so we can care for them properly. ✓ MEET & GREETS: Because of a stalker situation that occurred, we NO LONGER allow strangers/Rovers in our home. You are welcome to view the pictures of our clients online and we will definitely send you pictures of your pet(s) while they are with us. But, for our FAMILY'S SAFETY and peace-of-mind, we ask everyone to respect the privacy of our family's home. If this is a deal-breaker for you, we respectfully suggest that you either explore other pet sitters or have us take care of your pets on a drop-in basis at your home.
