I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kid and have two small dogs of my own. I dog sit and board dogs for friends when they’re out of town.

Melissa was a life saver. Looked over churro for almost a week and took care of my baby with the most intentional care. Leaving your baby with anyone is always such a scary notion but she was really great about sending me updates and photos of churro being the happiest of puppies. Mel has been my dog walker and pet sitter for my german shepard/husky mix for 3 years now, my dog Ghost loves her so much, hes always excited when she walks In the door cause he knows hes about to be go on an adventure. I completely trust Mel with taking care of my dog and would recommend her to any pet parent!

I take the dogs out every 4 hours on a walk around the neighborhood sometimes a short walk around 10 minutes or longer walks about 20 mins. For dogs with higher energy I try to get in at least one 30 minute walk for the day. I feed them twice a day, can administer medicine. Since I’m in an apartment and have two of my own dogs I’m only able to board or offer day care to one additional dog at a time.

please let me know if the dog has special needs, is crate trained or has any issues with going potty indoors. Also any special ways to prepare their food, if they like other people and pets and if they have any leash aggression.
A typical day
There is a pretty quiet park nearby I like to take the dogs to. i have an anchor for the grass I hook them up to, so they can have a little freedom.

I freelance so have a pretty flexible schedule 3-4 days a week. On off days I’m home, so available for day care, boarding or walks
