I have fostered around 70 dogs since I moved to DFW 4 years ago for different rescues in the area. I love all animals and have alot of experience caring for dogs. I was a hospice foster for a few dogs also so i have alot of empathy for animals. My only foster fail so far has been my little boxer princess Xena who has been amazing in helping me socialize other dogs I've fostered. I also volunteer at the Fort Worth animal shelter. From my pics obviously my specialty is snuggling. I do have an in ground pool in the backyard but will never leave any dogs outside unsupervised.

Melissa is amazing with dogs. I would consider her the dog whisperer. She has a special way to bond with any dog and she’s been absolutely great with our dog Griffey. Our dog is always so comfortable with her and she’s so comfortable with him. Anyone would truly feel at ease having Melissa watch their dog.
I don’t know anyone who would be better suited for walking dogs than Melissa. She has fostered many dogs and loves caring for them and finding them homes. Dogs are very comfortable around her and trust her completely. She is extremely responsible and will be an excellent addition to rover.

A typical day
I love to give belly rubs, kisses, snuggles and play with toys especially a good game of tug o war. Love to walk around any nearby lake or nature preserve. I do have a pool in my backyard but would never leave an animal outside unsupervised.

Availability
I work 100% remote so I can pet sit and not leave your animals for long periods of time. I can do 2 walks per day and lots of potty breaks.
