I have been caring for dogs and cats for 25+ years. I have personal experience in puppy/dog training, as well as experience in caring for resource and animal aggressive dogs. I am comfortable with all breed sizes.

I’m so thankful for Melissa! The rental house we chose for spring break did not allow pets, and I was so anxious to leave my elderly cat and dog behind... Melissa came over and took care of them, and sent many photos and updates. It was so nice knowing that they were being taken care of by a person who obviously loves pets! Everything was clean, and both pets were happy when we returned, couldn’t ask for more!!
My Goldendoodle is a part of our family so it was hard to leave him behind when we took a family vacation. Melissa was amazing! She took wonderful care of our dog, followed the instructions we gave her, and even sent updates. I would absolutely recommend her!

Before sitting with a pet, I like to know about their temperament. What special or unique needs might your pet have. Do they have a favorite toy or blanket to sleep with? What is their favorite place to walk in your neighborhood? I love all breeds. I just like to know what I’m getting into ahead of time.
A typical day
If your pup loves walks, we’ll take nice walks together! If your pal loves cuddles, we’ll have lots of snuggles! If your dog loves to play fetch, we’ll play fetch! We can also work on some light, positive reinforcement-focused obedience training if you want!

I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have lots of time to play with your pets! Between school drop off and pick up, my weekdays are plenty flexible. I also have weekend flexibility.
