Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my entire life and can say I love dogs more than people😂!! I am a dog owner and have been caring for dogs for years. I love having owners know their dogs are well taken care of and loved while they are away. My boy Royce loves playing ball in our large yard, playing with toys, and chillin on the couch. No better feeling than a happy and healthy pup.

Melissa was awesome! This was my first time using her or anybody from Rover and could not be happier. Remy loved her stay and Melissa provided updates through her stay. I will definitely be using Melissa in the future.
Haley had a fantastic time with Melissa. Its such a relief to know that we have someone so wonderful to take care of Haley when we’re gone - we get our vacation and she does too!

I have a large backyard (not fenced) for fetch and lots of running around! I also like to hang out and play on the large deck as well. I have a nice living room for indoor play and a large couch to snuggle up and rest on. I have long line leashes in both front and back yards if your pup is the curious type or not off leash trained. My dog has separation anxiety so working/training him on that is ongoing. Because of this, all household items in the living room/dining/kitchen is stored very well. There isn’t much available for pups to try to get into! Because I am remote for most of the week, I am able to spend lots of time with your fur baby. Whether they want to just hang out on the couch or do zoomies in the yard— I’m here for it! Depending on the dog, I have a kennel if they prefer a space for themselves. I have dog beds in every room as well with they prefer to be alone.

A typical day
We have lots of space to play fetch, swim in the doggie pool and go on walks! We have a HUGE bin of toys, bones, and mentally stimulating games.

Availability
I work a hybrid schedule with about 75% of that working from home. On days I go to the office, I am only gone between 1-6 hours and always make sure the pups are mentally and physically tired before leaving. With that, most of our time is spent doing fun training sessions, walks, playing in the yard and on the deck, or swimming in our little doggie pool!
