Pet care experience
Since I was never allowed any of my own, I fell in love with every pet I saw. My friends families used my obsession to both our advantages, and often asked me to pet sit! I grew to love all aspects of pet care, and I decided to work for a professional pet sitting company. I worked here for a year, where I received training and a lot of valuable information. I loved this experience, and I would love to be able to continue my passion through Rover.

Melissa was an amazing sitter! She was incredibly communicative & responsible; she was always checking in & ensuring I felt comfortable. Most importantly she took the best care of my baby & was obviously a huge animal lover. I can't recommend her enough!
Melissa did a wonderful job caring for our two kitties. She checked in with me respectifully to make sure everything was good to go and sent plenty of pictures. She seems to genuinely care for my little guys! Highly recommend.
Melissa met my dogs before our booking and hit it off with them immediately. She was punctual and kept me updated with lots of pictures. My pups loved her and she was nice and professional in all of our interactions. I hope to work with her again!
Melissa was so thorough with her visits! I loved it, I missed my cat so much and her notes made my day. Even when my automatic feeder failed, she saved the day. My Max was purrfectly taken care of!! We will call her again for our next trip and would definitely recommend! Thank you!

The most important part of pet care is making sure that all of the owners requests are followed so that the pets’ routine is not disrupted. I also make sure that the animals have enough time to do their business, and have all the playtime and cuddle time they want! They will always get fresh water and all the treats they are allowed. My hope is for the pet and the owner to be fully satisfied with the experience!

Availability
I am home from college for the summer, so I have a lot of flexibility with time. I am used to having multiple visits for pets in a day, but I would love to be able to spend more time with the pets and make sure they enjoy their time. I have my own transportation and have enough time to make that my goal.
