Hey, my name is Mel! I’m not just a dog lover, I’m an animal lover. I have a lot of experience working with animals and dogs. I’ve traveled to Sri Lanka to volunteer with sea turtles and Thailand to volunteer with over 400 dogs!! I have a cairn terrier named Norman whom I’ve raised since he was a puppy. I love to go hiking and enjoy having a companion to keep me company. I live in downtown Albany and have quick access to the Corning Preserve park, along with 2 dog parks within a block. I have known Melissa since 2007, and she is one of my best friends. She is one of the most compassionate and patient people that I know and would be a great choice to take care of anyone’s pet. I have never seen her express anything but adoration for any animal she has come across and would treat any animal in her care as her own. Mel is amazing with all dogs! She was a big help when I rescused my second dog, always taking them on walks and giving them the attention they needed. She is an amazing dog owner herself, totally energetic and a playfull personality. Her dedication to helping all animals is incredible! She will definitely provide the love and care that dogs need, and she will also create a fun environment that dogs will love. Mel is definitely ????
I would highly suggest Melissa for any doggy needs! I have known Mel for almost ten years. She is above and beyond responsible, smart and capable of tackling just about anything. She has a soft spot for fur babies and they always take an instant liking to her! She has cared for my pups countless times and is very kind to them as if they were her own.
