Pet care experience
I have grown up and worked with a variety of pets and have always had dogs that are more than a pet, they are family members! Each family member has a different personality that I learned to adapt and tend to their special needs. I have loved and cared for a range of breeds and various ages from puppies to the blind/hearing impaired and even administering insulin. I believe each dog deserves to have their day and will treat your pet with the same love and respect I give my own. I am easy to work with, attentive, responsible, and guarantee that your two most valuable possessions, your pet and home, will be safe in my care. I hope to give you the peace of mind needed when I pop in to help with your fur baby!

I was so reluctant to leave my fur babies with someone I didn't know, but Melissa has been wonderful! She comes on time and sends me pictures and updates while she's at my house. They get on her lap and she loves on them as though they were her own. One of my dogs was limping and Melissa took the time to cuddle with him and comfort him; she even offered to take him to the vet for me while I was at work! It's obvious Melissa doesn't do dog care just because it's a job, she truly loves the dogs she's caring for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs!!

A typical day
I love going on dog walks, the zest for life my dog has when outside is inspiring! I like to give time for the pups to explore because in my experience they are investigators and need to continuously understand their environment. Going to dog parks and throwing a ball with a dog is the most fun! After all, a dog in full motion is a beautiful sight!
