Melissa was great with the pups, she sent a communication to let us know they were all set! Super service.

I hired Melissa to walk one or both of my dogs for a few days each week. I was starting off slowly to see if she would work out. She was here a total of two weeks. I had to travel to NYC last week on business and booked Melissa to walk both of my dogs, a chocolate lab. and a golden retriever, two dogs who need exercise, for three days. We went back and forth on Rover text and confirmed everything including timing of the walks. In my chaotic efforts to get out to my conference, I forgot to confirm the booking through Rover. Despite confirming with Melissa by Rover text correspondence, Melissa never showed up to walk my dogs, or even let them out. When I checked in with her on Wednesday afternoon, while I was on the road to NYC, she told me that I never confirmed the booking on Rover and that she wouldn't be walking them that day. When I asked her to please rebook on Rover and take care of my dogs on Thursday and Friday of last week, she told me that she couldn't, essentially leaving me to scramble and piece together some sort of care for my dogs. The fact that Melissa knew I needed coverage, confirmed that coverage with me, and didn't think to call or text me when she saw that I hadn't confirmed the Rover booking to ask if I still planned on her, was entirely irresponsible on her part. These are animals we are talking about. She didn't seem to have any concern at all.. I am sorely disappointed in Melissa.
