Pet care experience
I have experience with all types of animals. I currently own two tortoises, bearded dragon , 3 small dogs, 4 cats , fish, leopard gecko, dart frogs , a turtle. I was born with a passion to care for animals. I believe they are innocent creatures that are just full of love to give. Animals depend on us to give them a wonderful life and to care for them properly! I worked for Becky's pet care for 2 years . I would go on visits to care for clients furry loved ones. I would give cats the food ,love and if medications (if needed ) per the owners instructions. For dog visits I also feed them , give them love, medications(if needed) and potty breaks. I Can do visits for dogs who are elderly , special needs , backyard potty breaks, or slow walkers. What sets me me apart from other sitters is I do walk with a cane but that does not stop me from the love and the detailed instructed care I give to animals.

Our kitty Julie is near the end of her life, has dementia and is very high maintenance. Melissa provided the needed care and coped very well with difficult situations that arose due to the dementia. Melissa has caring nature, loves animals and did a fantastic job. We feel very safe leaving our feline companions in her hands.
Melissa did a great job of taking care of our special needs aging cats. This required giving medications and extra clean up. She was on time and communicated with us every day when she was at our house. We will definitely ask Melissa again when we need cat sitting.
Melissa is a very caring and responsible dog sitter. She's very conscientious and communicated with me very well as to how my dog was doing. My dog loved her and she treated him so well. She very flexible if we got delayed on our return trip, or if we came back early. I always knew my dog was in great hands and would be loved and cared for!
Melissa provided pet-sitting services for our cats for years. Her interactions with them told us she was very experienced with cats, understood how they think, and loved their special qualities. Her care of them was very appropriate and consistent. When we were traveling she would contact us if she had concerns or questions. When we came home our house was always in order, kitchen utensils and food bowls clean, mail and newspapers stacked, and front door locked. Also, the cats were very relaxed (which told us they were at ease with her while we were away.) She cleaned out the litter box very thoroughly and the area around it was always tidy. Rover would be lucky to have such a competent, experienced, and caring employee as Melissa.
