Melissa and I both lived in the bay area and were involved in the dog rescue community. She was referred to me as a very respected pet sitter for my Maltese, Max. I was in a last minute bind and needed someone to help me immediately to both housesit and care for Max. After interviewing a few people, I met with Melissa and felt an instant connection. I'm very cautious with Max as he is 13 years old, is deaf and has heart difficulties. Three years has gone by, and I am so fortunate that not only have we both moved down to LA but that I have also found a great friend in Melissa. She's not only dependable and trustworthy but also a compassionate soul. Max is in doggie heaven when Melissa comes to visit! I would highly recommend Melissa.

I have known Melissa for over 14 years and highly recommend her as a dog caregiver and as a cat-sitter. Her family has always owned well behaved, healthy dogs and Melissa has been tasked with their care when her parents have traveled. She tended to our 4 house cats and home while we traveled; when we returned everything was in perfect order and the cats were happy and healthy. Our Bernese Mountain Dog always loves Melissa’s attention but, since the dog comes with us Melissa hasn’t had to care for her. Melissa would be a reliable and very caring and compassionate pet-sitter.
