Pet care experience
I have extensive experience caring for animals, and have completed first aid training. I also completed dog training classes at the SPCA, and am familiar with several training methods. For dog walking bookings, I only walk your dog(s) during the booking, using the extensive trail system in Spruce Grove or Stony Plain to exercise your dog. I also offer pet sitting for dogs, cats, and others. I have owned many breeds. I currently several cats. My last dog was a large mastiff mix, who weight 120 pounds. I have owned and cared for small and large breeds of dogs.

I have a client intake that I complete with all clients during a meet and greet, so I can learn about your pet and your needs. I have experience with providing dogs and cats with medication, such as diabetic or pain meds, and I can accommodate seniors with reduced mobility.
A typical day
For dog walks I use the extensive trail systems in Stony Plain or Spruce Grove, and I avoid the dog parks. In the past I have witnessed several dog fights or attacked at the dog parks and your dogs safety is my top priority so I prefer to exercise on the trails or in other park spaces. I also play tug or fetch, or brush dogs who enjoy it. My dogs have been all working and higher energy breeds, cattle dogs and labs, so I have experience with those who need extensive exercise and stimulation. At the end of daily visit I recommend a brain teaser toy or Kong toy be left with the dog for additional activity while they are alone, and I can fill a Kong with peanut butter or treats if the client would like.
