Pet care experience
Been a lover of pets since I was born. Currently a cat mom of two but I pride myself in loving my boyfriend's two dogs like my own and a great dog aunt to my friend and sister's dogs. I've had family dogs since I was 6 years old and have volunteered at local dog rescue companies. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they are loved and cared for in every sense of the word. My skills include having a great "pet ora" they know I'm already in love with them before I even meet them. I enjoy going to the dog park and going on walks, We'll both get some exercise. Will provide bath and grooming services if requested!! Very available throughout June and July 2018 to house sit, walk, and provide any other pet care for your furry friend.

Melissa can be found cuddling with animals of many kinds, although dogs have always had a special place in her heart. She’s been around dogs her entire life, many who have been considered part of the family. She will not only care about the well being of the pups she cares for, but she also knows first hand how much respoibility it takes to take care of another parents fur baby! Melissa is perfect for the job!
I have a 2 year old boarder collie who is quite the handful, but he loves his aunty Mel. She watched him for a week over spring break and there’s no one I would have felt more comfortable leaving my dog with than her. He had a couple of accidents in the house and wasn’t feeling good that week so Melissa stayed with him all day, everyday so that he wouldn’t be alone. She’s the best!

A typical day
I already visit Twin Lakes dog park weekly with either my boyfriends dogs or my friends dogs. There are plenty of trails around Columbia that we could explore together. If there are an specific areas your pup enjoys, I will make an effort to get them there. We would have lots of fun on walks, interacting with nature, and getting plenty of exercise. I'll give treats until told otherwise!!
