Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog (and cat) owner and lover my entire life! For the past 4 years I have worked providing in-home child care, and every family I have worked with included pet care within my duties as well. I have experience caring for cats and kittens, as well as dogs from teacup size up to a 120-pound Great Dane. I live a very active lifestyle and I love to engage pets in play and exercise. My services include in-home care and occasional boarding (as I currently have two rescue cats at home), walking/running with pets, drop-ins for feeding/playing/potty breaks/cleaning kitty litter, and giving lots of affection and belly rubs for your beloved pets. I have availability typically every day to provide pet care, including weekends. I am looking forward to meeting your furry family members!

Melissa has watched our pup Kona numerous times when we go out of town and she is excellent! Between staying active and keeping her entertained, she was also very responsible about giving her necessary medicine as well as attention. Kona almost forgets we’re gone just because of how much fun she has with Melissa. Any pet owner is lucky to have Melissa around to watch your animals for you, would highly recommend!
Melissa was amazing! She gave Kona her antibiotics and always asked for permission on the limits of what and where she could go. Melissa is very thoughtful and tentative. Kona came home with energy well spent. She's very energetic and I can tell she had a great time by all the naps she's taken! I can guarantee that Melissa will be my number 1 choice when it comes to doggie care!
I have had Melissa take care of both my dog and cat. She is dependable and trustworthy. She loves animals and both of mine love her too. Melissa is great at following instructions on the animal’s care. She makes sure they are comfortable and have everything they need. She also spends time playing with them. I’m glad I have her help for those times I can’t be there myself to take care of my fur babies.
