I've taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since i was 14 years old. Family and friends, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets.

I have known Melissa for over ten years and during this time I have observed the dedication, loyalty and sensitivity that she has for our four legged friends. Whether it be a dog or a cat she is always the first to advocate for the animal in terms of their care, well-being and attention. She genuinely gets the greatest of joy when caring for an animal. Melissa has demonstrated to all of those that have used her services her reliability, consistency and talents when it comes to caring for our pets. She demonstrates enormous love and compassion for all animals. Melissa began pet sitting for us around 2005. Our first dog was a large mixed breed who could be anxious at times. He was, however, very comfortable with Melissa and warmed up to her right away. Melissa is attentive, dependable, responsible and affectionate towards pets in her care. It is easy to tell that she loves being around animals! Currently, Melissa pet sits for our second dog whenever we are away. He suffers from allergies, requiring a little extra TLC, which Melissa is more than happy to provide. Over the years, Melissa has cared for our dogs, in our home for up to two weeks at a time, in addition to shorter stays. If you want to feel comfortable and secure leaving your pets in someone else's care, I highly recommend Melissa!
