Pet care experience
Hi. We have always had dogs in our family. Since i was a little girl. We had a house full of pets from ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs and horses. We sadly lost both our dogs last year, one to cancer and the other one we let go at the grand age of 13 as it was the kindest thing for her. We decided looking after other peoples fur babies would be the next best thing to do. Xxx

Melissa and her family looked after our 2 cocker spaniels wonderfully! It was a very relaxed environment and the dogs seemed to enjoy being there even though they had only just met them. I felt happy to leave them in their care and was even more reassured to receive regular messages and a video from Melissa advising me how the dogs had settled, been fed, walked, etc. Would definitely recommend Melissa to anybody feeling a bit nervous about leaving their fur babies with a stranger.

Melissa was wonderful. She really took care of my fur babies. She came to meet us and the cats before we left. Gave us updates via pictures and really reassured us that our cats were happy and well. I will definitely be asking for her help again and would recommend her to anyone who wants their fur babies looked after and fussed over. We didn’t have any worries. Warm, reassuring, caring yet professional.
Melissa and her family were brilliant with our old 13 year old. He was a bit unsure at first, but they made him feel right at home. The texts and pictures were very welcome, as we were anxious to leave him for the night. When we went to collect him the next day, he was so settled and was lovely to see. If we need to do something similar jn the future, we'll definitely be checking Melissa's availability. Thank you!

Happy to look after any dogs with special needs, as long as i know if they need any thing specific we will be fine. If anything upsets them or they react to anything we will do our best to manage that.
A typical day
I have a large secure garden so plenty if space to play games in. I also have a large kitchen to keep them entertained in. We live opposite the woods so lots of access to nice walks to keep them busy x

I work part time from home and those hours are very flexible so i can work whenever it fits in. We live opposite the woods so walking dogs is very handy.
