Melissa was great with our dog Sophie while we were away over the holidays. Our dog was not feeling well and she took extra steps to help settle her stomach. It was very reassuring to have her communicating with us while we were away.
I’m the proud owner of two of the cutest goldens you’ve ever seen . I’ve had them for five years now and unfortunately my job requires me to travel a lot. I have trusted Melissa with them for the past five years and let me just say Melissa has been the most compassionate, loving, and impressive doggie-sitter ever! She always follows my directions and gives my dogs the appropriate food portions, walk times, and enriching play time. Most impressive is her ability to groom my goldens. Melissa is no stranger to bathing, brushing teeth, clipping fur and nails amongst other things. On top of all that Melissa has a great professional demeanor. She’s great to work with and it is easy to see that she does what she does out the love she has for our furry friends. I whole heartedly recommend Melissa to anyone who needs excellent care for their pets.
Melissa is a very good dog caretaker, she has taken care of my two dogs Smores and Rango on multiple ocations when I am out of town. She walks them, plays with them and on acation grooms them (she has dog bathing experience). Melissa is a very trustworthy and kind individual, I highly recomend her to care for your dogs

I find it helpful to know your dogs personality/ demeanor to better care for them. If your pet is animal reactive, shy, scared, playful, etc., it helps me give them a better walk experience. I also would like to know if any allergies and/or disabilities.
A typical day
I love to match the dogs energy so I won't shy away from getting down to their level. I can walk at their pace & let them sniff or we can do a light jog.
