We moved when I was in second grade and not have any friends in my new neighborhood. I decided to would knock on doors asking to play with their dogs. After joining the military, I became a K-9 Handler for the last 8 of my 20 years. That was my first paid job walking dogs! It was the best job. I retired at the same time as a K-9 on-base retired. I was lucky to have adopted him and gave him a wonderful retired life for three amazing years. I have a Bully/Boston mix that I rescued from my neighbor.
