*I recently reactivated my Rover after 2 years.* My name is Melissa and I’m currently a student but I'm a full time dog lover! My son’s name is Elijah and he’s a responsible 11 year old boy. Together, we provide a safe home for your pup to feel loved. I have over 15 years of experience raising dogs from all backgrounds including different breed sizes, temperaments and dietary preferences, including the raw food diet. My special skills include training puppies, caring for senior dogs, and socializing rescues. Both Elijah and I attend school from home, so you can rest assured that your pup is being cared for at all times. Elijah is very active and takes every opportunity during his breaks to play outside with my pup clients. If I do happen to step out while boarding your pup, it will usually be during evening hours after I make sure I have an exhausted pup.

This was my 1st time leaving my Lola & using Rover. Melissa was so understanding treated my fur baby as part of her family. Sent videos & pictures on daily basis for a week. I was so worried my lola has separation aniexty, I would definitely recommend Melissa.

Pups that board with me have access to the whole house, minus the kitchen. I keep a doggy gate separating the kitchen from the rest of the house intentionally so that pups learn to respect the boundaries I establish. Contrary to what some people believe, dogs love boundaries and get very excited when rewarded for obeying those boundaries. In the matter of comfort, small dogs are allowed on the couch. For my bigger dogs, I always have a large memory foam mattress laying around. DISCLOSURE: -For health concerns, all my meet and greets take place outside in my enclosed in my front yard. -For safety reasons, all pick up's must take place before 8:00pm. Any pick up's after 8:00pm will be charged for an additional night at the extended stay rate. -Three night minimum stay required for dog boarding.

A typical day
I start my mornings off early. Your pup can expect their days to be filled with playtime, such as games of fetch and tag. If you have a dog with a serious case of zoomies, no problem! They can let it all out inside the comfort of an enclosed front yard. After a long day of fun, it's all belly rubs and butt scratches. We live in a cozy house with a large fenced in front yard where your pup can run off leash. My schedule allows me to be home almost all day and remain highly interactive with your pups. I have the ability to keep up with any lifestyle your pet is accustomed to; from cuddles to sprinting.
