Hello! I absolutely love caring for pups and have also fostered with the Lucky Puppy Rescue in Bonifay. I try to stay home with the dogs as much as possible and send frequent photos and pupdates so you can have peace of mind while you're out of town. I love being outside and I'd love to take your dog to the park, for a long walk, or whatever they like! I grew up surrounded by dogs and helping my family care for them. My dog has lots of tummy issues and is on seizure medication, so I am very familiar with giving meds, managing specialized diets, and extra TLC. I'm comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. When house sitting, I leave my dog at home with my fiance so I can focus on your pup(s) and their needs. I also offer cat sitting and daily check-ins for cats through Rover as well. *PLEASE NOTE: I require a meet-and-greet before booking new clients.

Melissa (and Kona) are super awesome. Melissa sent me photos and videos and I know my pup was happy and safe there. My dog can’t go up or down stairs, and Melissa made sure to avoid them when taking her outside…and the peace of mind that gave me was enormous. Thank you so much!
Friendly, on time, responsible walker, however I did wish that she would interact more with Zoe, and I was bummed out when our walking arrangements suddenly changed and I had to find someone new… But overall good experience, followed instructions,would book her again!

I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run. I take my dog, Kona, around the neighborhood once per day on a walk. My dog stays out in the living room with the TV on while I'm out of the house. I can crate your dog if needed. For house sitting, I leave my dog home at my house, so I'm able to house sit dogs that don't get along with other pups. I require a meet-and-greet and visit so I can get the lay of the land and learn your dog's routine. I always strive to leave a house cleaner than I found it!

Cascades Park and Tom Brown are close by and are my favorite places to take my dog! But if you like a certain park, I'd be happy to take your dog to a familiar place while you're away.

Availability
I work in the office 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can sometimes stop home at lunch. During the weekends, I try to be home as much as possible so your pup(s) get plenty of exercise and attention.
