I can’t live without dogs around! I got a pit bull right after college and never looked back. 🤣 I’ve had 2-3 of my own rescues for the last 15 years, and I’ve fostered and dog-sat

Melissa was amazing with communicating to me about my dog’s wants and needs! I had to leave him for a few days, and she made sure that I received pictures everyday. Thank you so much!!
Melissa is The Best!!! She takes great care of my dog and loves him so much. I 100% trust her with my dog all day. I am very lucky to have found her.
Melissa, along with her whole family, was a great sitter for my dog, Poppy! Poppy can be anxious and high strung, but Melissa went above and beyond to make her comfortable during her stay. I really appreciated her willingness to have a longer meet and greet and drop off so that Poppy could adjust to the new space with me present. But my favorite thing has to be the sign that Melissa’s daughter made for Poppy’s crate!! I’ll be hanging it up on her crate at home 😄
Was great with our dog!

Dogs are fed twice a day in their crates or a separate room. They love to play-wrestle, which we fondly refer to as “biteyface.” Dogs are allowed on furniture but not in my bedroom. I require a meet-and-greet before any daycare or boarding because one of my dogs needs a slow intro to new people. I use a spray bottle to spritz the dogs when they get too wound up or break rules (ie counter-surfing, chewing the furniture.)

Availability
I work from home, and I have a fenced-in yard. My dogs go in and out frequently throughout the day (but there are rules for them when they’re outside- no barking at neighbors, no fence-fighting.) Any visitors need to be able to be alone for up to 2 hours to accommodate short appointments and breaks.
