Please no intact male dogs!! Hello! I have owned almost all house pets and agricultural animals the majority of my life. My heart for animals is like potato chips as we have many animals. Over 30 horses, cats, dogs, alpacas, goats and sheep and so on. This is the perfect way for me to enjoy many additional pets yet they get to go home. We have 6 acres fully fenced in. We also have the back yard separated and a few dog runs if needed. Your going on vacation? So is your pet!! Down on the farm at Step N Stone Stables in Powder Springs GA. Our daily routine is all about our animals at Step N Stones. All animals are let out and fed by 9am. When animals are new to us we normally let them enjoy the outdoors as much as the weather will allows us. They are never outside long when weather is super hot or cold. There is always water available by dishes, bowls, buckets and a live stream. We are only doing on the farm boarding. Every pet will be accommodated to there specific needs. Such as if they are kennel trained they will be in a kennel at night only. No bowls or kennels are needed. We wash and clean the bowls after every meal and kennels are disinfected daily. We do not preferred kenneling, but there are some dogs that need to be kenneled at night by owners request. We have a tendency of losing bowls so we supply them ourselves and your leashes will be put with your stuff and we do not use those either. Please, if you bring blankets or beds that they will go home smelling like the farm and so will your dog. Most of the dogs go home exhausted for two days from running around and playing with their new friends. We keep the dogs separated inside the house and big dogs together. We keep all family dogs together and never separate them. We want everybody happy and healthy and to enjoy ourselves on the farm and making new friends. Our home is over 2500 ft.² And half of that is a full enclosed basement that we have set up three rooms that are over 20 x 20‘ and one of those rooms has our veterinarian kennels for those who request to be kenneled at night. We take pride in our home and Property and our routinely cleaning constantly. All areas are cleaned 2 to 3 times a day. Bowls are cleaned after every meal. Kennels are disinfected nightly before going in. We also have dog blankets and beds all over our house that we regularly wash and clean. We also have an area for dogs that do not like the rainy days that they are able to walk out under our porch and go potty and run back in. These are definitely not our favorite! The rain let off we are out with the dogs lol I have four kids that live in my home and I say kids two of them are adults 21 and 19 then I have a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old. I also have three employees so there is always someone here at all times. At drop off or pick up, it will be one of the three normally myself Melissa my daughter Makayla, my oldest son Zachary, and we are super busy possibly my 17 year old Connor. Once again, there is always someone here at all times and the dogs are out as much as possible. However, we do have many older dogs or dogs that don’t like to be out for very long and we don’t make them stay out any longer than they want. Your dog is on vacation!
