My name is Melissa. I was born and raised in Maine. Animals have been a part of my life since the day I was born and they hold a special place inside my heart. Animals bring a certain joy to life that humans can’t. I feel it is so important to take such good care of our fur babies because they depend on us. I am respectful, loyal, professional, responsible, loving, and nurturing. I currently have 2 cats of my own and have had many dogs over the years. It is my guarantee that your fur babies will get the utmost respect, love, attention, and care they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies soon!

Melissa was amazing, and our dog felt so at home with her! She was responsive and sent pictures and updates while we were away. Absolutely recommend her for dog sitting.
To sum it up, my dogs wanted to stay! Melissa and her family were absolutely loving and amazing. I fully endorse her services and look forward to being a repeat client when I need to head to Portland area. Dogs slept the four hour trip home! Thank you for all the love and exercise.
Both dogs came back with two eyes, four legs, and a happy wagging tail!

My yard is not fenced in so any flight risks will need to be trained well or have a leash brought with them. We do have an invisible fence and the appropriate collar so if you’d like, I can use that as well. I do have 4 kids and one cat so all I ask is that your fur baby be good around both kids and cats (or at least not torture them haha). Regardless, this is a very fur-friendly home with lots of love to give to our fur guests. :-)

Information Melissa N. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your fur baby has any special needs. I’m very experienced with dogs on a special diet or dogs with diabetes that may require daily insulin shots. Please let me know ahead of time if your fur baby is not good around kids (we have four kids ages 5, 8, 13, and 15) as well as good with a cat. I have a cat who does not particularly love dogs but she will just ignore them typically or maybe make a deep growl but has never gone after one physically. :-)
A typical day
Love to go on walks and I have a great, quiet neighborhood to do it. We have kiddos that also love to play with our fur guests as well! Does your baby just want lots of snuggles? That’s alright with us too! ;-)

I currently work full time at home except for 3 days a month where I’m in the office. My partner works from home every day so someone is always home. :-)
