I am a current vet student and avid runner. I love taking dogs on walks/runs and spending time outdoors! I can easily take a dog on a hike (weekends). I have ran, walked and watched many different breeds and sizes of dogs and have vet tech/assistant experience in a small animal clinic. I am very comfortable administering oral medication and also have experience with diabetic dogs (glucose checks and insulin shots). I have experience with handling nervous or shy dogs as well. I enjoy going on walks and runs with dogs as a way to enjoy being outdoors and giving them the amount of exercise that they need depending on activity level and physical condition. I am willing to work with owners to ensure that their dogs are treated as if they were my own. I also enjoy an engaging game of fetch if that is desired! My family always had dogs while I was growing up. I had a highly energetic Jack Russel terrier as a kid and currently my family owns two rescue Catahoula mixes. I will not have my dogs with me so I will be very flexible to meeting/watching new dogs.
