Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of many different characters including, calm, friendly, anxious, scared, and reactive dogs. Although I’m not a trainer I spend a lot of my spare time learning about dog behavior.

I typically stay at the owners house and work from there. I take a break between meetings so I take the dog on a short walk during that time. After dinner or before dinner I like to go on a longer walk. Depending on the dog I’ll shorten my walk or bring water incase we’re out for over an hour. If it was a busy day and the walk was shorter than usual I like to make food puzzles to entertain them. My routines will change depending on the dog/cat I am watching and what they need.

Let me know if your dog has any character traits that might make it hard for them to trust me. Please be honest, if your dog is anxious or reactive it won’t scare me it’s just good to know so I can approach them correctly. Please also let me know how your dog behaves around other animals and people so I’m prepared.
A typical day
I like to let them safely and respectfully (of others yards) explore and sniff all they want. If they can run I like to add a little jog to our walk. At home creating DIY food puzzles is one of my favorite things, it helps with mental stimulation.

Availability
My work is remote so I have a couple of pets I watch often at their owners house. I like to take breaks or go outside after my meetings which is a great time for dog walking. On the weekends l like to get my bigger outdoor activities in, like biking and hiking, another opportunity to bring a furry friend along.
