Pet care experience
As an animal lover, I am pursuing a career caring for them. I am committed to continuing my education and rely on solid business practices and ethical treatment of all animals. Being a dog owner, I know that arranging care for your animals while you're away can feel like an overwhelming decision. More than nine in 10 pet owners consider their pet to be a member of the family. Myself being one of the 9, I will not only provide for basic needs like food and water, but also companionship, reassurance and playtime while you're away. We would love to get to take our non-human family member with us everywhere we go, but sometimes, that just isn’t possible. Finding a responsible, professional individual to take care of your pet may be a more preferable option than leaving them housed in a boarding facility. What about a pet sitter? If I meet your qualifications and and you decide to select me as a potential pet sitter, there are equally important members of your family who have to approve me – your pets! As qualified pet sitter I will request a visit(s) at your home so I can interact with your pet. I will also request that you be present durning the visit(s). What better way to feel at ease than knowing your pets approve of your choice and that we are a good fit.

Melissa is the best dog-person ever. She is gentle and kind, yet firm and consistent. She is not easily rattled. She can 'talk' to any dog I've ever seen her meet. She is not breed particular. Her own dogs are bigger dogs but she likes them all. She has worked in the hospitality industry with tourists and knows the value of listening to customers. She and I actually have 'joint custody' of a dog we share back and forth due to my work schedule. She is that accommodating!
Melissa is amazing with dogs. She has taken care of our Aussie. Our pup loves her and is always excited to see her. I highly recommend her.

I understand that they you may have certain routines with them, and I am happy to adopt any special means of communication you may have.
A typical day
Your pets stay in the comfort of their own home and I will continue their daily routine like you never left! I care for dogs, cats and caged animals. Your pet sitting visits are GPS tracked rest assured your family member is being taken care of. Do you work long hours and can’t get home? I offer Dog Walking, Dog Park Field Trips or Backyard Dog Potty Breaks and can also stop by to break up the monotony of being left alone all day. Dog walks are full of physical exercise, socialization and mental stimulation! Your dog walks are GPS tracked and you will receive the route they walked in an email after every service. Do you need: Weekly Backyard Dog Poop Scooping Cleaning, House Sitting, Cat Litter Box Cleanup, Dog Baths or Pet Taxi-ing/Transportation. I can make runs to the veterinarian, pick-up/drop-off dogs from the groomer or pick up the bag of food you forgot. I will run your pet’s errands so that you don’t have to! I'm here to make your life easier if I don’t offer what you need contact me I can be creative!
