I understand the trust required to leave your pet with someone else, and will do everything I can to make sure your pets are happy and safe! I'd like to know if your dog/s have any special requirements or habits I should know about. I'd also love to know what your dogs' favorite toys are, if there are any spots around town they particularly love to go to, and if there is anything special I can do for them while you are away!

I love to make dogs happy! That can mean playing with them inside, taking them to the park for a short walk, or taking them for a long walk, hike or run!

Pet care experience
I've taken care of pets almost my entire life, starting with dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits when I was 9. As I got older I also helped care for cats and chickens. Even as a young girl, I pet-sit other families dogs and guinea pigs, and in college temporarily cared for a co-workers kitten for 5 months when they couldn't. I absolutely love having pets, and also chose a career working with animals. Animals have and always will hold a special place in my heart!

Melissa is fabulous! She had endless patience with my super shy kitty and eventually won her over. She was happy to play and snuggle with my far-from-shy guy, too. She’s a great communicator and a very good photographer. It was so reassuring to see pics of happy, bright eyed kitties while I was far from home. The house was also in great shape, so nice to come home to. I recommend Melissa highly.
Melissa has been helping me watch my jack russell Riley for years now, and she is like a godmother to her! She takes great care of Riley, taking her on lots of walks to curb her energy and also playing with her inside. She is just a natural around cats and dogs alike. And Riley loves her back equally! Melissa would be a great sitter for your pets.
Melissa is amazing with pets - she loves dogs and cats as if they were her own children! She’s great with playful dogs who need to be active on walks or runs, and she loves just hanging out inside and playing with dogs and cats too. I highly recommend Melissa for your pet sitter or dog walker.
Melissa is wonderful with pets! She loves animals very much and is always caring and kind to them. She does a fabulous job when she takes care of my dog and guinea pigs. My animals love her! She has experience taking care of cats and other small animals as well. Melissa enjoys walking, running, and hiking, so she does a great job getting dogs out for exercise. She is extremely responsible, honest, a hard worker, and an excellent pet sitter. I highly recommend her!
