I have had pets in my home from birth and learned to care for them from an early age. I have personally had dogs, a cat, parakeets, and fish. While in high school and college, I worked as a receptionist in a large veterinary hospital. I currently have a small dog, large dog, a cat, and two human children. :) I love all breeds of dogs and any type of animal.

Melissa was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs. She has watched them several times and we have been thankful for her each time. She went above and beyond when caring for our dogs, she spent extra time with them and made sure they had the best care.

I have a fenced in yard, plenty of dog beds (though mine sleep on the bed/couch), and crates if needed. I have a friendly cat that likes to play with the dogs. I am experienced in caring for dogs learning to crate train, teething pets, and administering medication.

A typical day
First things first, potty break! After finishing their business, we will play ball or tug-of-war, or their favorite games. After their nap, I'll have them hunt for treats or pieces of food since sniffing can be just as stimulating as running. I love going on walks around the neighborhood or one of the local walking trails! I'm also always down for a good cuddle session with lots of pets when they are ready for a break.

As a teacher, my availability will be more open during holidays and breaks from school. On school days, I am available before 7:30am and after 4pm.
