Pet care experience
My experience extends over 20 years in pet care. I have cared for my own dogs since their adoption at one year of age until their final years. Currently, my main focus is smaller dogs in my home or yours, and medium to larger dogs in your home. However, I also have experience with cats. From socializing litters of kittens and their mothers to single catty individuals! I would gladly care for your cat in your home.

Melissa is a wonderful dog sitter. She is so loving to my dog Thor. She is the only one I will leave Thor with. He absolutely loves her. I leave him sometimes for up to 2 weeks and always feel confident that he is safe and happy. I love that she sends me lots of pictures of the two of them having fun together.

I have a small but comfortable apartment, which also has a small fenced in yard. We would be talking walks in the neighborhood, to local parks or hanging around in the cozy fenced in yard. I take frequent breaks throughout my day, so walks and potty breaks fit right in. I like being comfortable, as well as my guests. So any visiting furry friend is welcome to choose their own coziest spot. Whether that be lounging on my bed or other furniture. It’s all about being comfortable and at peace with lots of cuddle time included.

Please provide any special instructions, vet info, medications, foods, snacks, blankets and toys your pet needs/loves. I want them to have everything they need and be as comfortable as is possible.
A typical day
The sky is the limit! We will take several walks in the local park and neighborhood. Perhaps a car ride, if approved first and definitely toy time, doggy TV and of course cuddles per each client’s preference. And needless to say, treats as permitted.

I run my graphic design business from my home, which means I am always there. However, I need breaks too! Having a furry friend to care for and enjoy time with is a great addition to my day.
