Loyal as a Dog!
Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover my whole life...my father had a farm and I would care for all kinds of animals. My parents have also open the first adoption & education center for animals in the town we are from in Colombia. I want to mention this not just because I'm very proud but more so because I want to get the message across that the importance for the care of your animals is top priority for me. I have always had a dog of my own and have cared for them begging to end, I had a schipperke for 17 years and last year my family and I had to say goodbye to him. About a year before my schipperke passed I rescued a mix puppy, he is now a fully grown pit and sharpay mix. It was a bit difficult training him but he is now the best behaved dog I have ever own. I really hope I get to opportunity to meet and care for your precious family member!!

Melissa has a engaging and positive energy. She loves her dogs like they are her babies. She actually calls them that. I remember being on the phone with her for over two hours after she had to put one of her dogs down. It was the first time in our 8 years of friendship that I've seen her distraught. I have complete faith that she will be passionate in this role.
Melissa would be a great dog sitter. She has so much passion for animals, dogs in particular, and any pet owner should feel safe with leaving their pet in her care. I've known her for years and have witnessed how she sees and treats her own dogs as family, they are more than just dogs to her. I wouldn't think twice about letting her watch my pets, I know they'd be in good hands and very well taken care of. It takes a certain person to see animals the way she does.
