Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm, been around dogs (from puppers to elders), cats (from kitties to oldies), rabbits, cows, goats, sheep, and chickens. I love pet-sitting for all animals! I've cared for friends, families, and co-workers pets ranging from Holstein to Chihuahua sized and loved them all!

Melissa is amazing with our pets. She has been walking our pup for a few months and it is so sweet to watch our dog get so excited to see her every visit. She also stayed at our place while we were out of town taking outstanding care of our cat and dog. It was such wonderful piece of mind knowing she was home with them and they were happy while we were out of town.
Amazing. Melissa is the dog whisperer. Just could not ask for anyone better. Our wonderful dog does not like new people and makes no secret of it. She is a challenging dog to say the least. She growls (really growls, not just a few tepid barks) at anyone she doesn’t already know and like. At least except for Melissa who really knows how to handle difficult dogs.
Melissa is an amazing dog walker and sitter! She is super flexible with scheduling, attentive to my preferences and Zoey’s needs, and very reliable and trustworthy. I have recommended her to multiple friends who have also been extremely satisfied with her care for their pups. Great with both big and small dogs, and with dogs with specific behavioral issue areas like barking, leash pulling, etc. 10/10 recommend!

I understand that you may have unique training phrases for your fur baby, please let me know in advance any phrases/words you would like me to use so I can help them practice their known tricks and manners. If you are interested in me helping teach them a new trick, please tell me! I LOVE training and have the patience for it!

A typical day
Playing with animals is one of my favorite activities! Every pet has their own preferences with playtime and I like getting to know what they love the most so I can spoil them properly! During walks, I love letting the dog take the lead. Smelling is a dog's main way of observing the world so I like when they can lead with their nose! Nature parks are my favorite areas to take dogs to.
