When I was preparing for a 3-week trip out of the country, I realized how important it was to have a loving vacation home for my dog. Nothing against our traditional boarding kennel, but my dog is a rescue, and I couldn't bear to think of him in a kennel for 23 nights, thinking he'd lost his forever home. That's how I found resources like Rover, and once I knew how great it was for Watson to have other dogs, a couch, and the same caring humans each day, my and his stress were resolved. I've been fostering dogs for 3 years - from Pitties to Poms - and have had my Watson for a year and a half. Opening my home to new dogs is my expertise. I work from home, so the pups in my care have a lot of supervision. I especially love walking dogs, so I hope yours will want to join in! I believe strongly that all animals deserve a safe and loving home. Therefore, 50% of my pet sitting earnings will be donated to a local, Atlanta-based animal rescue group.
