Hi there! For the first time in almost 20 years, I don’t have any of my own dogs. Right now I am focusing on my boarding and daycare pups. My “puppy” is a mammoth donkey named Steve; she lives at a farm in the country where I go visit and spend time training and grooming her. The back yard is fenced and backs up to the woods where we have quite a variety of wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, barred owls, hawks and many other critters. My house is very calm and quiet. I try to make sure it's a relaxed environment. It is mostly dog friendly. I have a queen futon mattress on a frame for the dogs to lay on, and a huge selection of toys for them to play with, including some toys that are mentally stimulating. I've got a lot of experience with big dogs including handling health problems. In addition to dogs, I have experience keeping exotic pets including parrots and other birds, freshwater and marine reef tanks, reptiles, amphibians, insects, arachnids, rodents, equine, waterfowl, and all kinds of farm animals.
