Pet care experience
I worked at a canine boarding and daycare for 5 years, so I definitely gained most if not all of my knowledge there! I am well-versed in puppies to elders; from dietary restrictions and illnesses to food/barrier aggression. For several years now, I've taken care of my own furbabies, from dogs to guinea pigs - even a turtle! Animals are one of the many reasons for living, and I love to care for them!

I hesitated leaving my puppy who was still wearing his cone from surgery, but Melissa was the perfect sitter for him. She was able to handle his situation, gave his meds, and I received lots of pics and updates which helped calm my nerves down knowing my baby was taken really good care of. I will definitely call Melissa again for petsitting next time we are in Detroit. So glad to have found her!
Melissa dogsits my Spoony and she always sends me the cutest pictures of her . Melissa’s literally my babes favorite. If you have a fur baby that needs to be cared after , Melissa would be my #1 pick .

I live in a duplex, in the lower half of the house. I have a fenced yard for dogs, and a mini schnauzer who loves to make friends. I take photos, so you would get regular updates! If a drop-in visit is preferred, that is of no issue. My home is smoke, drug and alcohol free!

I am currently working, to save up for my graduate studies! I am home every evening, thus at this time I can only accept boarding. I am home most weekends (I will block out weekends shall they become unavailable.) I have a partner whom is at home more frequently.
